About the Sites:
Hissar is not just a city; it is a gateway to the enchanting mountainous country of Tajikistan. An exciting journey awaits, filled with breathtaking scenery, ancient history, and local hospitality. The Hissar Fortress is considered one of the most famous historical buildings in Central Asia. It dates back over 2,500 years, while its main gate was built in the 16th century by order of the Emir of Bukhara.


Kohi Navruz is a unique cultural and entertainment complex located in the heart of Dushanbe. Built in 2014, it has become a true gem of modern architecture and one of the most popular places for recreation and cultural experiences in Tajikistan. The complex spans approximately 40,000 square meters and consists of 12 uniquely designed halls, each reflecting aspects of Tajik culture and artistry.


The Gurminj Museum of Musical Instruments, established in 1990, showcases a remarkable private collection gathered by the renowned folk artist Gurminj Zavkibekov (1929–2003). It offers visitors a deep insight into the musical traditions of the region.

The massive Nurek Dam, one of the tallest dams in the world, reflects the ambition of Soviet engineering. Constructed between 1961 and 1980, it was once a major attraction for visitors.

Hulbuk is an important archaeological and historical site located in southern Tajikistan near the town of Vose. Between the 9th and 12th centuries, it served as a major cultural, administrative, and commercial center under the Samanid and Ghaznavid dynasties.


Qalai Khumb is a small town located in the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region (GBAO), on the border with Afghanistan along the Panj River. It is an important gateway to the Pamir Mountains and a key stop along the Pamir Highway.


Chorchaman Recreation Area is a scenic mountain resort located in the Darvoz region, offering beautiful views and a peaceful natural setting.
